John Vandenburgh is a nationally recognized speaker, program developer and trainer on developing safe schools, building school climate and youth development approaches in education. John speaks, consults, and develops programs for a variety of organizations, which include school professionals, law enforcement, government agencies, student groups, and community members. The overall message is to innovate and share solutions that address emerging youth trends, behaviors, and society influences that impact a safe school climate and the positive youth development of our children. He is the author of the safe schools approach, the PLUS Program, and the creator of the internet safety and cyberbullying prevention software, CyberBully Alert.

Comprehensive Safe Schools Program Development

As a response to the next generation of critical youth development issues, John established a comittment to develop cost effective and sustainable programs, products and services, which serve to:

1 - Protect

Keeping kids safe and protected online and in school.

CyberBully Alert software serves to protect young people by equipping them with a tool for immediate documentation and communication to an adult when they are threatened, harassed, or bullied while online.

2 - Connect

Creating Connections peer to peer, youth to adult, and students to school

The PLUS Program is a safe school model, which develops a sustainable infrastructure that establishes a school climate where inclusion is a reality for all young people.

3 - Educate

Developing Capacity in Students, Staff and Parents on critical youth development trends

Safe School trainings, assemblies, presentations and learning seminars keep students, staff, and parents abreast to latest trends impacting youth development.
